Sustainable Built Environments Teacher Team of Chongqing University was selected as the National University Huang Danian Teacher Team

At January 27, 2022, the Ministry of Education announced the second batch of National University Huang Danian Teacher Team. The teacher teams of 200 universities across the country were selected, and Sustainable Built Environments Teacher Team led by Professor Li Baizhan of Chongqing University won this honor.

In June 2002, Li Baizhan, who has studied and worked in the UK for ten years, gave up the superior conditions abroad and returned to work. In 2004, he began to establish the Sustainable Built Environments Teacher Team. In 2013, Professor Andrew Baldwin of Loughborough University joined the team as a national high-level foreign distinguished expert. In 2015, Li Baizhan''''s wife, Professor Yao Runming of Reading University, returned to Chongqing University as a national high-level distinguished expert. At present, the team has a total of 18 members, including 1 national excellent teacher, 5 national talents, 1 founding editor in chief of the Journal of International SCI zone I, 7 members of CIBSE and RICS international society and Cambridge University college fellow. 95% of the members have more than half a year of overseas study experience.

The team actively explored education and teaching methods in the new era, continued to promote the integrated development of teaching, scientific research, and education, committed to the cultivation of innovative talents in the field of sustainable building environment and the research and development of key technologies required by the country, and made gratifying achievements in teaching and education, scientific research, and innovation.
